Wide Receiver makes spectacular behind the back catch

The Granite State Panthers wanted to kick off their second year in the Independent Football League of New England in style, and what better way to do so than by hooking up for a 50-yard behind-the-back catch for a touchdown on the first offensive play of the season.

Talk about setting the tone.

The player making the catch is Brandon Brown, a first year player for the Panthers. His touchdown was the first of three for the Panthers, who would go on to beat Mt. Washington by a score of 21-0 in their opener.

As for the commentary on the play, it seems as though this dad is looking to get an audition for ESPN’s College GameDay.
