As defensive coordinator of the Tennessee Titans, Chuck Cecil spends most of his time on Sundays flashing signals at his defensive players, but this past Sunday during a game against the Broncos, he had a special signal for the officiating crew.
Cecil flashed the “Hawaiian peace sign” at the officials after his Titans were penalized 5 yards for encroachment early in the second quarter. The league is expected to look into this incident and fine Cecil for his actions. As for the Titans’, they may want to consider taking “flipping the bird” out of their book of hand signals.
